LightBe Global (LBG) is a PAYGo Solar company located in Abuja, Nigeria providing Solar Home Systems (SHS) to the Nigerian marketplace with initial focus on Central and Northern Nigeria. Our team is led by Isaac Komolafe who has deep relationships within the Christian Church network in Nigeria and the 1000s of churches and millions of members it represents. Through this network and the church’s “Business as Mission” platform, we have established a network of distributors chosen to cover our target market. Our team has experience in the Solar PAYGo industry with suppliers and channel partners to help develop the best possible solution for our clients including industry specific PAYGo payment software and Nigerian specific network marketing software.

Isaac’s Story (Northern Nigeria and the Sahel Region)

Pastor Isaac Komolafe and his wife, Sarah, were called as Nigerian church leaders to serve this region in 1990. Over the last 30 years, they have spent their lives supporting and teaching indigenous church leaders (who have planted over 1000 churches in Northern Nigeria, alone) and have significantly impacted the people in the region by providing life-changing resources like clean water, schools, and medical clinics. These resources have been provided to people regardless of religion or ethnicity, thus bringing greater peace to the volatile region.

Danger of Fuel-Powered Devices

ChiMijLWUAAcU0C
Fuel-powered light is dangerous, polluting, expensive and dim.

Diesel generators, kerosene and paraffin lamps will burn fossil fuels causing pollution and global warming. As well, because of their proximity to families and employees, they pose a serious health risk.

The World Bank estimates that breathing kerosene and diesel fumes is the equivalent of smoking two packets of cigarettes a day and two-thirds of adult females with lung cancer in developing nations are non-smokers.

Why Providing Solar Power Changes Lives

Solar Power is an ideal source of energy for places that receive a lot of sunlight, like around the equator in Africa. It is also good for remote rural places without access to the electricity grid and works on a large or small scale.
Unlike kerosene lamps and diesel generators, solar lights do not create pollution or carbon emissions and don’t harm wildlife or humans. Using solar avoids hazards such as fires and contact with black smoke, as well as providing a better source of lighting.
The lack of energy limits the quantity and quality of the children’s education.”
One of our goals is to help ensure that students have access to all they need to get quality education.
"We want to enable more students in Nigeria to improve the reading and
writing skills by having access to independent and reliable light."
